Fidelity Investments - Firsco Online Ordering Site  (http://www.firsco-onlineordersite.com/)
Led a team that designed and developed a comprehensive extranet application that automated the complex task of ordering customized printed marketing materials to agents in the field in a timely manner.  The project has been a success with users and managers alike and has produced substantial Return On Investment for Fidelity.

American Commercial Barge Lines- Client Portal (http://www.myacbl.net)
Our team designed and developed a client portal to improve communications between global clients and the information that ACBL maintained in 22 individual legacy databases on several platforms such as Sybase, DB2 and SQL and Oracle.  We also designed and developed a new corporate web presence for ACBL and its subsidiaries to coincide with the portal’s release.  The portal featured information tailored for each client’s barges and allowed for new multiple customized views of the clients’ data and allowed for real-time downloads of all data directly to the client via XML.  In addition, other pertinent business information such as river conditions, weather, industry news and commodities pricing is available customized to the client’s preferences.

Aegon USA – FMD Fulfillment Center   (http://www.fciabu.com)
Our team designed and developed a custom materials ordering system for Aegon USA’s FMD division.  The application had several significant hurdles to overcome - including stringent legal requirements and a cumbersome UNIBASIC flat-file database as its inventory source.  The application also required input and approval from many different individuals at Aegon for its function, legality and cost in order to succeed.   The application was able to drastically improve ordering speed and accuracy from the agents in the field.  It also helped Aegon avoid the liability of major SEC fines due to process errors by agents in the field.  In order to complete this goal the application became an integrated part of the workflow for Aegon and Fulfillment Concepts Inc.. This allowed real time processing and communication between Aegon and FCI thereby reducing the existing inventory availability lag time and increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the costly inventory being held.
